Rear Oscillation Worm Bearing for ALL Vanford versions

This is one of the easiest upgrades you can make. It really takes 5 min (only 2 screws to remove). Will fit all reels below, size 1000 to 3000, from any year:

•  Vanford 
•  Soare XR
•  Complex XR
•  Cardiff
• (possibly Ultegra - never done it but its the same inside)

There are two different bearings available. One is 100% made of zirconium ceramic (both races and the balls). The other one is a stainless steel bearing but very expensive (costs almost as much as the fully ceramic) and supposedly with very tight tolerances. In the end this is a tiny bearing at the end of a tiny shaft that receives little pressure, so even though the bearings are different, it is hard for a human to tell the difference. It's more for you to know what u have inside than some big difference.

BEFORE you remove the bushing, see if u have too much up and down free play on the spool. IF YOU HAVE TOO MUCH FREE PLAY, use the shim that is provided in the package, as shown in the video. Using the shim is optional and up to you.
