BG-1 ECOLITE micro jigs

The ECOLITE models of the BG-1 jigs are made with the same Japanese hooks as all other models. They are actually made from the same molds as the other models! But we created a metal alloy without lead! This allows us to finally offer BG-1 models under 1 gram! 

ECO because these jigs don't have lead, and I know many of you feel bad littering the lakes with lead. (some new East Coast regulations are actually banning fishing with lead)

LITE because the new alloy is lighter than lead, and the new jigs are less than 1 gram and people who fish shallow creeks and ponds can finally get a slower sink rate in a BG-1 jig.

The 0.6g #12 ECOLITE (0.6 gram weight/ size 12 hook) is made of the same mold/ same hook as the 1.0 gram #12 hook BG-1. The 0.75g #10 ECOLITE (0.75 gram weight/ size 10 hook) is made from the same mold/hook as the 1.25 gram #10 BG-1 (see the available images)

SINK RATE - these jigs have a very slow sink/fall rate due to the low density of the alloy (only 60% of the density of lead). For that reason, a 0.75 gram ECOLITE jig will fall slower than a 0.75 gram LEAD jig. Best to fish these in less than 6 feet of water.
