2026 Kastking Ultimate (from my youtube review)

Watch the video review here: https://youtu.be/B107Kch_hkg

As i said in the review, this reel does not feel as refined as a Sahara or Legalis, so don't buy expecting some smooth japanese reel. Also it has had a few miles now - you can find a lot of videos with it on my channel.

The strong sides of the reel are:

• very light - only 150 grams
• drag sounds great (i replaced the carbon with felt, and put my grease - you might have to regrease next year)
• has high-end gears and frame (see the video review) and i expect that it will last a long time if user is careful. This reel will not wear out, if u dont break it, you can fish it many years.
• All black aesthetics - looks and feels perfect on Japanese rods
• It has expensive 2.8lb YGK Polyester line, filled all the way to the lip. DON'T TOUCH THE LINE.

I don't type empty words, read this again, and make sure you buy the reel for the right reason! Good applications are jigging for black bass and white bass and drop shot in the winter. Thats what the line is for also. Dont buy for twitching 1 gram jigs, its not a finesse jdm reel.
