2017 Daiwa THEORY 2506 (Collectible)

this reel is based on the 2017 Presso Limited. It looks stunning in person. 

Mechanically and aesthetically this reel is still 100% LIKE NEW! I am not exaggerating, there are no marks or signs of use on the reel! It has been sitting on a shelf for 8 years! 

This has been a collectible item for me and I think its best purpose today would be a collectible. Otherwise, with this ABS spool, it could be used for float fishing, as it has amazing line management. By the way the line is a very expensive SUNLINE Machine Gun 4 lb monofilament. Not only looks perfect on the reel but it has very low stretch, like fluorocarbon, and feels great! I use the same line on my carp reels in larger diameter because I love the color and the feel.

The reel was never opened! It was fished once and put on a shelf!
