Tungsten Drop Shot Weights - Cylinder
THIS IS A PACK OF 4 WEIGHTS! If you are comparing prices pay attention to quantity per pack, because very often these are sold in packs of only 3, or even 2 in some cases!
These are pure tungsten drop shot weight that a factory made for me. I always loved the Olive color for drop shot weights - a nostalgia from my carp fishing days.
I PREFER TEAR DROP FOR SHALLOW DROP SHOT FISHING - 10 to 20 feet. It provides more contact with the bottom and better sensitivity compared to cylinder shape.
I PREFER CYLINDER SHAPE FOR DEEP WATER FISHING - 20 feet +. The cylindrical shape sinks faster and is preferred for applications like perch or white bass fishing 30 feet deep in the winter. Contact with the bottom will be poor anyway when you fish 30 feet deep, so you might as well use the shape that gets down the fastest.
Of course you can do either fishing with either shape just fine - these are just my theoretical preferences.
I have plenty of videos using these fishing for perch in the winter in Chicago, if you can watch old videos : )
