Bearings - HANDLE KNOB for Daiwa/Shimano

These bearings will fit ALL Daiwa and Shimano reels with size 1000 to 3000. I think it will fit bigger sizes as well but i have not confirmed that.

You are buying a set of 2 bearings and one washer. The washer is NOT needed for installation and is provided completely out of COURTESY, to help u remove free play IF you have free play in the knob. If you don't have free play, do NOT use the washer.

The ABEC7 Hybrid-Ceramic bearings offer the lowest resistance and your knob will spin the longest (assuming u shimmed it properly). However on the water I don't think you will tell the difference between ABEC7 and ABEC3, as with the knob on both feel about the same. ABEC3 has less resistance than the stainless steel bearings, because it runs dry inside. But for reels under 100$, stainless steel is probably the best way to go as those are the most durable and this is not a high end reel where its worth spending money on ceramic bearings.
