This is the tendency of Complex XR and Soare XR reels to suddenly release a lot of line without much resistance at all. Shimano says this is so when a big fish suddenly pulls a lot of line, it cannot break your line. Except that it never happens in real life and it's just unbearably annoying.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e- \u003cstrong\u003eAnti-Seize\u003c\/strong\u003e . This is the tendency of Complex XR and Soare XR reels to be very sticky at first, so to allow bass anglers to yank and set the hook without reel releasing line. Except that Ultralight anglers don't do that and it is again unbearably annoying. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eApplication instructions: It is best used with brand new felt disks, but the old disks can also be used, regardless of whether the old disk is carbon or felt. Get paper towel and gently but thoroughly remove the old grease but letting it soak into the paper towel. When the drag disk is as dry as you think you can get it, apply the ANTISURGE grease on both sides of the disk. Make sure the entire disk is covered with grease but don't have extra grease just hanging from the disk. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe drag will sound AMAZING right after application, but will wear off with time.
