Rear Oscillation Worm Bearing for ALL Vanford versions

This is one of the easiest upgrades you can make. It really takes 5 min (only 2 screws to remove). Will fit all reels below, size 1000 to 3000, from any year:

•  Vanford 
•  Soare XR
•  Complex XR
•  Cardiff
• (possibly Ultegra - never done it but its the same inside)

There are two different bearings available. One is 100% made of zirconium ceramic (both races and the balls). The other one is hybrid-ceramic (races are steel, but the balls are ceramic). I have the fully ceramic in all my reels just because i like the white ceramic, but i don't think on the water any human can tell the difference between the two bearings. If u spend more money on the expensive one, it will be just so you know you have it : ).

BEFORE you remove the bushing, see if u have too much up and down free play on the spool. IF YOU HAVE TOO MUCH FREE PLAY, use the shim that is provided in the package, as shown in the video. Using the shim is optional and up to you.
